You’ll find gorgeous trails with a range of difficulties to choose from. Swim or fish in the tranquil spring and summer waters or unleash the kayak for some heart-pumping, fast-paced, white-water action in winter.
Set up camp in one of the many campgrounds, and after a day of fun, reconnect with family and friends or relax under the blissful canopy of the forest.
The picnic areas and barbecue facilities are perfect for a day visit, too, if that’s all the time you have –recharge with a bushwalk spotting quokka, woylie or perhaps a chuditch along the way.
There are incredible photo opportunities around Lane Poole Reserve’s camping spots. The blooming wildflowers in spring, the beautiful Baudin’s and Carnaby’s cockatoos, or even the elusive western ringtail possum in the woodlands.

Review – Time to chill out
I recently stayed at one of the many campsites in the Lane Pool Reserve, about 2hours south of Perth, for a long weekend. What a great place to escape reality and chill out for a few days.
